Woman

Woman
you’re gorgeous whatever you wear

let that be our starting point
and then I’ll pretend I care
about your sartorial vacillations

Truth is though:
I like best the views in between
when you’re down to your underwear
and your fleshy oscillations

And you know full well, woman
that you ain’t going to listen to a word I say
unless it chimes
with your classy sense of rhythm

and your sassy sense of rhyme

And, yes
your bum does look big in that
and that’s why I like it
