Stony Road

There’s a pebble in my shoe
Picked it up along the road

Some days it tells me where I’ve been
Some days where I’m going

Oh
If only I knew
the language of the stones

There’s a pebble in my shoe
Reminds me I'm skin and bone

And if ever I stopped
and shook it out
I'd never find my way back home

Oh
If only I knew
the language of the stones
