Stony Road

There’s a pebble in my shoe
Picked it up on a long and dusty road

Some days it tells me where I’ve been
Some days it whispers where I’m going

Oh
If only I knew
the language of the stones

There’s a pebble in my shoe
Reminds me I am skin and bone

And I know that if ever I stopped
and shook it out
I'd never find my way back home

Oh
If only I knew
the language of the stones
